Qobuz albums issues, even 72 hours after fix

I did that procedure above noris suggested + I added router rebooting.

Procedure: 1) logout Qobuz → 2) shutdown Macbook Pro (Roon Server) & MiniMac (Roon Bridge) → 3) Reboot router (internet provider) → 4) powerup Macbook Pro (Roon Server) & MiniMac (Roon Bridge) → 5) logging back to Qobuz.

There was no “This process ensures that a first “new account” sync process is instantly triggered.” It did not happen, there was now only 1 album from my own Qobuz favourites. This album was added to favourites thru Qobuz app during this week, it is now the latest addition to favourites but 26th latest.

I can find all latest Qobuz favourites in the Roon if I choose Browse → Qobuz → MyQobuz. Also I can find alla my latest Qobus Playlists if I choose Playlists → My Playlists → Qobuz.

As I said earlier this problem has walked with all the way on my journey with Roon. One day I find my Qobuz favourites, next day they can be found, or they have disappeared. It would be really nice to if you could find a lasting solution to this in cooperation with Qobuz.

Should I do something now to help you to achieve this goal?

Wonderful news. This morning I got all my Qobuz favourites back. It did no more moves after my last message above. It got better this time by only waiting patiently. Let’s hope it’s permanent this time around!

Hello Roon Team,
I seem to have the same problem, most likely since February 21 (or around that date): an uncertain number of albums have been “scattered” among “my” albums in “My Library”, which all carry the Qobuz icon, but none of them shows up (correctly!) when I enter Qobuz from within Roon, or when I open my Qobuz account outside of Roon. I logged out from my Qobuz account numerous times, turned off my computers several times, turned off my Lampizator Supercomputer, on which there is the Roon core installed, again on several occasions, all without any change. Those “wrong” albums won’ t disappear! I have waited patiently several times 72 hours so far, and no change. What else to do? Thanks for your help.

(so far quite happy with Roon plus Qobuz for several years, however, this year started with a number of issues, making me increasingly unhappy)

Not so wonderful news this time. Qobuz favourites are gone again. I am - SO - tired of this bad service you provide. Can you check out from your logs, or Qobuz logs, why this happens. Just tell me if there is something I should send to you or whatever.

Nothing has changed since the status report 7 days ago! Everything is fine, no more errors have appeared!:+1:

I had the same problem; fixed it by restoring a Roon backup from before Feb 21st.
Note that the suggestions posted on the forum re this issues did not resolve my problem. I first proceeded by disconnecting Qobuz from Roon and then using the cleanup library function in Roon; subsequently my library was totally empty, except for the locally stored music files on my NAS; I was however unable to re-add my Qobuz favourites to Roon… So, decided to restore a backup and all is back to the pre-random-album situation.
To restore a Roon backup, go to Settings/Backups/Find backups. Roon may take some time before showing a list with all your backups; just be patient for 5mins? 10mins? Guess it depends on the number of backups. Next, choose a backup and be patient again when it restores.

I have also fixed this problem a couple of times by restoring a Roon backup. But that does not solve this problem, everything is fine for day or couple of days and then problem arise again. I have also tried to tackle this by uninstalling Roon Server from the server computer and finished uninstalling by cleaning up macOS library registers (all Roon appearances). No help, problem keeps coming back all the same.

By the way, Qobus favourites came back just now. Wow, let’s see how long they are there this time (read a little irony here).

One more thing. Is there anyone with very large Qobus favourites collection? How many songs is there in your large favourites collection? And then to the actual question: Does your favourites stay there in the Roon nicely? I have near 400 000 songs in my favourite collection. Tidal did not handle that much songs, but Qobus deals with this large collection nicely. I just wonder that maybe Roon have problems to handle very large favourites collection, at least when collection is in the Qobuz (or any outside Roon streaming collection). Any ideas?

For me, this restore fixed the problem, i.e. my Roon library only contains songs on my NAS as well as all my Qobuz favourites.
I did clear the cache on my Roon Nucleus before performing a restore of a backup; as a result, my Roon library only listed the songs on my NAS.
I expected Roon to resync with my Qobuz library but this did not happen, hence my decision to perform a restore.
You have a humongous library though; maybe this causes Roon to “choke”.

Now Qobuz favourites are counting downwards fast in the Roon → Browse → Home view. This is something that happens very often. Countdown goes that far that there is no Qobuz favourites to be seen in Roon, only songs from local hard drive. Is this kind of counting downwards in Home view familiar with anyone else? What can cause this, where is the problem when this happens? Can anyone from the Roon staff take part of this?

@noris I just re-added the missing albums from the “My Qobuz” page in Roon. Again, a large amount of “Unavailable” albums I previously deleted were added to my library. For example:

Earquake: The Loudest Classical Music of All Time
Circus Dinograd
Frederic Chiu - Hymns & Dervishes

Maybe you can see something in the logs. I give up for now.

most of my library has disappread. If I start adding albums back into my favorites or library, they disapear again the next day. Along with that, albums and artist I am not familiar with are appearing in my favorties or my library. I tried the reboot or the Qubuz resync but it didn’t work. What should I do next?

Any news to report on this topic?

Describe the issue

The content under My Qobuz is gone. All of my favorite albums and tracks are gone. In fact there is music in there that I have no idea where it came from.

Describe your network setup

Google WiFi hubs wired to Innuos Zen Mini. This setup has worked flawlessly for a few years. Nothing has changed.

Known issue on the Qobuz side that should have been resolved but maybe not for everyone. See this thread, and note the links to the staff posts from the first post:

Hello @V8M3 ,

Can you please try to log out of Qobuz via Roon Settings → Services, reboot your Roon Server, then log back in? Does that help restore your content?

I did see that option earlier and have tried to log out and reboot with no change.

Hi @V8M3 ,
Thanks for letting us know. We’re actively working on a potential fix for this issue. I’ll merge this thread into our main tracking thread so you’ll receive updates as soon as we have them.

Appreciate your patience, and we’ll keep you posted!

This topic has come up before but I never saw a resolution. I keep getting. Albums added to my library in Room from Qobuz. Roon says that these are favorites from Qobuz, but that is untrue. None of these are actually favorites in Qobuz.

I tried changing my password for Qobuz, but it doesn’t matter because Qobuz doesn’t sign out any devices that are currently connected. This is obviously a completely different issue on Qobuz’s part and a major security flaw.

Can someone please help stop this on Roon? And explain what’s going on?
