Qobuz albums not showing in Roon ARC while away from home (ref#JK9EXR)

Hi! What’s not quite right with Roon?

· None of the above quite fits

· None of these quite match

Tell us what's going on

· I am now away from home and using Arc. The Qobuz albums that were available on Roon are not showing. Only the album in my personal library show, but not the Qobuz albums.

Hello @Roger_De_Croock ,

Thanks for reaching out and sorry to hear about the difficulties. Can you please confirm your Qobuz account still works outside of ARC/Roon? If you navigate to the official Qobuz app or

, do you have any issues with logging in/playback there? Do you have any remote access to your system at home to reboot the Roon Server?

On my iPad or iPhone I can use the Qobuz app without problems. I also have acces to my home Roon server. But never tried to reboot the server from a distance ( away from home I mean)

Hi @Roger_De_Croock,

Thanks for the additional information!

If you could, while at home - see if you can reproduce the issue. Disable wifi on your mobile device and boot up Arc. Does Qobuz content still fail?

If you haven’t yet, I’d also fully reboot the phone and see if you run into the same issues.

Please share a more specific date and time of when you’re able to reproduce this, and we’ll take another look. Thank you!

I will only be able to do this at home after February 20th. In the mean time I rebooted my iPhone and still have the same issue with ARC. Exactly the same happens on my iPad ARC.

Hi @Roger_De_Croock,

What do you see in the Cloud and Server connection status under Roon Settings?

Diagnostics from the ARC framework show that the session token has expired - your reported symptoms also seem to indicate that ARC might be in offline mode, relying on cached data.

I guess I cannot see the iCloud and Server connection status under Roon Settings away from home and will have to wait until I am back home. Correct?
Roger

Hey @Roger_De_Croock,

You can access these settings by clicking the cogwheel icon within Arc - you should see ARC CONNECTION STATUS with both the Cloud and Roon Server status illuminated with a green or red dot.

Let us know what you see, thank you!

Ok, thanks, both are green!
Roger

I see now that in ARC my albums sorted by “date added” are listed with the oldest on top, whereas at my home system they are sorted from latest on top. This why in ARC I only saw my albums stored on the Nucleus Internal Storage. The Qobuz album in ARC are there, but really down at the bottom of the list.
I am sorry for not remarking that straight away.
So I guess the problem is solved, only: is there a way to get the latest albums in ARC on top of the Album list?
Roger

Tap the Date added link to get the drop-down menu, then tap the arrow by the Date added option to reverse the sort order… It should be an “up” arrow to show the most recent additions first…
