Describe the issue
When trying to connect to Qobuz service, I get: "Error verifying account, please check your account details. (Unauthorized)". I have a valid Qobuz account and can use Qobuz without Roon. I also have a Tidal account on Roon and it connects. This has happened after the last two Roon updates. Qobuz connected eventually after a week or so the last time. I don't know what changed such that it started working again.
Describe your network setup
ISP: T-Mobile. Networking: Asus Zen AX6600. Roon Rock connected to Asus router via ethernet.
Welcome to the forum! Just to confirm, this same login works as expected when trying to sign into play.qobuz.com, is this correct? If it does, I suggest that we try to clear out your Roon cache by using the below instructions:
Hi,
Thanks for the response. I don’t see an option to halt the Web UI, only one to power off. I think this will shut down the NUC and I won’t be able to make the file changes you are recommending. What am I misunderstanding?
Hi,
Thanks for replying. I have been using Roon for a number of years without ever setting up DACs on the ROCK. I am using external Roon-enabled devices to do the rendering. I can use Tidal and my stored music library just fine. I am just having trouble logging into Qobuz after the last Roon update.
Are you saying I need to set up DACs on the ROCK in order to have the option to stop the Web UI? I’m trying to follow the instructions in the first support response but I can’t complete the first step.
Thank you for the quick reply, Daniel. Now I think I understand the confusion. I never installed the CODECs because I didn’t think I needed them but now I think that even if they are not needed to enable my DACs, I need them to enable all the server options. I’m going to follow the instructions to install the ffmpeg file and see if my screen has the restart option your screenshot shows.
Hi, Vadim–
Yes, in a way. After the last Roon update, I my credentials were cleared from the Roon services for Qobuz. I have tried re-installing Roon on my NUC and re-installing the client on my iPad. No change.
Thank you for everybody’s input. While I didn’t understand it at first, I had to install the ffmpeg file in the CODEC folder into to have the option to stop the Roon server. I then was able to follow the first set of instructions and now I can log into the Qobuz service.
