Description Of Issue
For the last two days Qobuz shows my selections, but does not play music. Roon wheel is spining but looks like it’s not connecting.

(Qobuz connects with internet app and plays fine).

I’ve tried rebooting. I’ve logged out of Qobuz and then logged back in but wheel keeps spinning next to Edit button.

My files play fine.

Here’s a screenshot showing that I’m logged into Qobuz, but Roon seems to keep searching-ie.spinning black circle.

Hi @Jeffrey_Kenton,

Any change in behavior if you try to clear your Roon cache?

  • Exit out of Roon
  • Find and open your Roon database
  • Navigate to /Library/Roon/Cache
  • Move the contents of the /Cache folder elsewhere, like your desktop
  • Try restarting Roon and verify if the issue still occurs

Hi Noris,
Prior to receiving your instructions I did disc repair.
I also went to Roon backups and restored prior version. Roon continued working with spinning wheel. Occasional crashes.

I also followed your above instructions and Roon settled down and appears to be stable running Qobuz.
What do I do with cache folder? Do I return it to original location?
Thank you!

Hi @Jeffrey_Kenton,

Thanks for letting me know the cache clear helped with this issue!

If the issue is resolved, you can delete the old cache folder.
Do let me know if the system is still stable after further testing.
