Qobuz favorites back, but still having issues with tracks in playlists

Mine hasn’t reappeared yet. Should I reboot ROCK, or will it reappear automatically?

72 hours feels like such a long wait… I haven’t seen anything come back yet, waiting anxiously, tapping my foot…

My Qobuz library is finally back as of about three hours ago (SFO). All the tags and album modifications are intact.

My favorited albums are back, but many tracks are still missing from my playlists. Will they be restored automatically? I have a feeling they won’t.

Hello @David_Ohm ,

We are glad to hear that your favorites are back! I’ve split your post into its own thread so the that we can better focus on this specific playlist issue.

Can you provide a few examples of missing tracks from playlists? Are these all Roon-created playlists or Qobuz created? Do you see the same behavior in the Qobuz native app? Is there any change in behavior if you try to restore a Roon backup? Let us know when possible, thanks!

I am experiencing the same issue as well. When the Qobuz albums disappeared the individual tracks from my Roon created playlists also immediately disappeared at the same time. These playlists were a mix of owned music and tracks added from Qobuz. When the outage / API issue was resolved for me on Sunday the 26th, the playlists tracks from Qobuz never returned. I am running a Roon server direct on macOS.

Did you, by chance, save a local copy of your playlist? If so, you could maybe use Soundiz to export those to Qobuz.

Unfortunately, I did not. I can possibly recreate the playlists based off of an old Plex playlist. However, more importantly I wanted to let the dev’s know the OP’s issue was likely not isolated.

These are playlists created in Roon, and the Qobuz list remains unaffected. I didn’t try a Roon backup because my backup is manually configured and is about a month out of date :frowning:

Hello @noris,

I also noticed that the content of albums is different when installing filters in the Qobuz Grand selection, in Roon and the desktop of the Qobuz application. Previously, content was the same. I noticed the same in Tidal, according to some albums. For example, there is no new album The Weeknd, poor synchronization.

@noris @David_Ohm

So, for me the issue with the playlists has now been resolved after restoring from my most current daily backup. There must be some sort of integrity or cache issue very specific to the playlist tracks.
To be clear, I used my most recent backup from a day or so ago, not a backup from before the bug. Based on this you should be able to take a backup today and use that to restore your Roon server and the Qobuz playlist tracks should reappear in that restoration.

Thanks. I had this exact problem and the restore from most recent back up solved it as you suggested.

Thanks for the observations here @theda_bara @Duckworp , that is certainly interesting!

@David_Ohm - If you create a new backup and try to restore it, does that help fix the issue?

I haven’t done that yet, but it looks like most of the playlists have automatically been filled with their original tracks after a week. Interesting…

Hi everyone,

We wanted to reach out to ask if anyone is still seeing symptoms at this time. @David_Ohm, you mentioned that your playlists had begun to correctly populate after some time. Are you still seeing any sync errors persist?

@Vadim_Lvov, have you tried restoring a recent Daily Backup? Are you still having sync issues?

We’re eager to track down and resolve any lingering symptoms for affected users.
