Qobuz integration issues in Roon without VPN (ref#JTX717)

RF. 12/25/13. ROON stopped working properly without a VPN with the Qobuz service (favorites and covers do not load, ROON Radio does not work). In the Audirvana Studio player (native Qobuz app, UAPP on Android), Qobuz works without a VPN. I reinstalled ROON, cleared the cache, logged back into my Qobuz account, but nothing helps. Everything works with a VPN. What could be the reason?

Based on your description, this issue is caused by external network restrictions.

Since Qobuz works correctly in Roon only when a VPN is enabled, and also works normally in other applications, the problem is not related to Roon itself. This indicates ISP-level filtering or routing restrictions affecting Roon’s access to Qobuz services in your region.

Unfortunately, this is outside of Roon’s control, and there is nothing we can change or fix on our side.

To resolve this, please contact your Internet Service Provider and the relevant local internet regulatory authority (e.g. Roskomnadzor) to clarify why access to Qobuz-related services is being restricted without a VPN.

At this point, continuing to use a VPN is the only available workaround.
