Thanks for the testing information here. I’m glad to hear that things seem to run better when connected to the Mac.

So just to recap:

  • Mac as Core connected via Ethernet playing to System Output = No playback issues at all
  • Mac as Core connected via Ethernet playing to Lumin over the network = Infrequent playback issues (but still happens occasionally)
  • Mac as Core connected via WiFi playing to Lumin = Frequent playback issues

This definitely seems like there are some networking issues at play here as the frequency that this occurs is dependent on the type of network connection being used.

Looking back at your original diagram I see that there are two routers — What are these devices?

If you connect the Lumin via Ethernet to the Room 1 router instead of Room 2, just as a test, is there any change?
