Hi! What’s not quite right with Roon?

None of the above quite fits

· None of these quite match

Tell us what's going on

· I have a Qobuz account which I have linked to Roon and everything works fine but when I create a new Playlist in Qobuz, it doesn't synchronize in Roon.

@Everett_Spain,

Thanks for your question.

Could you please try manually forcing a sync with Qobuz?

To do this, go to Settings → Services, click Edit next to Qobuz, and then select Sync library.

Please let us know if that resolves the problem.

Thanks.

didn’t work

@Everett_Spain,

Thanks for confirming that.

To help us narrow this down, could you please clarify a few details:

  1. Scope: Are all of your playlists failing to sync, or is this issue limited to specific ones?
  2. Search Test: If you search for a specific song from one of the missing playlists directly in Roon, does it appear in the results?
  3. Release Date: Are the songs in these playlists very recent releases? (Sometimes new content takes a few days to propagate to our database).
We look forward to your reply.

Thanks.

I had this issue. Logout of Qobuz and Roon. Then log back in.

@Everett_Spain,

Thanks for the update.

Could you please try the step suggested by @john_eisenberg?

Please try signing out and signing back in, and let us know if that resolves the problem.

Thanks.

This thread has been quiet for the last week and we’re going to allow it to auto-close at this time.

Keep in mind that some Qobuz content (new releases, for instance) may take time to appear via the Qobuz API even if they are available in the Qobuz native player. However, moving forward, there are three steps you can take if you find that Qobuz, Tidal, or KKBOX content isn’t syncing withiin Roon.

First, try simply restarting RoonServer.

If that doesn’t help, next try signing out and back into the affected streaming services from Settings → Services. Force a sync from the same dialogue window.

In the event that services still aren’t syncing, try clearing the cache in your RoonServer folder:

  • Stop Roon/RoonServer from running
  • Find and open your Roon database
  • Navigate to /Library/RoonServer/Cache
  • Move the contents of the /Cache folder elsewhere, like your desktop
  • Try restarting RoonServer/Roon and verify if the issue still occurs

You can always reach out in a new request here if you’re still stuck. Thank you!
