· Ubiquiti dream router. Gustard N18 pro switch. Everything was working perfectly with these components, and all other aspects of qobuz / roon work, just the playlists are empty.
Thanks for performing that test, we have added this info to the investigation ticket. The ticket has been submitted for developer review, meaning that this may take some time to be reviewed.
There aren’t any additional details needed at this time, so we will go ahead and close the thread for the time being, and if any other questions arise after the developers have reviewed the case, we will re-open the thread and reach out once more.
Thanks again for your report, and thank you in advance for your patience as the ticket progresses through the development queue for review.
That is a useful observation, and we have added it to the ticket.
What you found fits how the sync works. Roon checks each Qobuz playlist for changes rather than re-reading all of them every time, so a playlist that looks unchanged gets skipped. Adding a track updates the playlist on the Qobuz side, which makes Roon treat it as modified and pull the full contents again. That is why your workaround works, and it also tells us something about where the fault sits, so it was worth reporting.
We are not suggesting you work through them all that way. With a lot of playlists it is not a practical fix, and it should not be necessary.
On timing: this is actively being worked on by our development team, and we would expect a fix in one of the upcoming releases rather than something distant. We would rather not name a specific version, since that depends on how the fix comes through testing, but it is not sitting untouched in a queue.
We will come back to you once there is something concrete.
