Qobuz tracks missing in all playlists.

Over the weekend (2025-01-25) Qobuz albums were successfully restored to my Roon library. HOWEVER, Qobuz TRACKS are still missing en masse from all playlists. At present, my collection of playlists is a Qobuz wasteland.

Wired ethernet. eero routers (1 yr old). Netgear switches. ~940Mbps internet download speed.

Update After a power outage in my local area today, and the consequent power cycling of my Nucleus+, Qobuz tracks have suddenly made a reappearance in my playlists. Things appear to be back to normal… WITH ONE EXCEPTION: There are a couple playlists that I make changes to almost every day, and the tracks contained in those playlists now – whether Qobuz, Tidal, or local – are NOT the tracks that I placed in those same playlists as recently as the past couple days. Those particular playlists reflect content that had been placed in them probably more than week ago, or longer, and not the most recent content. It’s as if Roon restored playlist content from some older generation of backup. Is there an explanation for what’s happening there?

Thanks for reaching out to us to ask about this issue.

Since the Qobuz outage went on for some time it’s likely that the changes you made during that time did not get to Qobuz. So when the service returned Roon synced with Qobuz and lost those changes. You may be able to get those tracks back by restoring a backup made after you added those tracks to the playlist.

Thanks for the follow-up. Since the content of the two playlists in question is constantly evolving, there is no need to recover a more recent version of those particular playlists from backups. (They function as something of a homegrown version of “Listen Later.”) It’s just that I was puzzled as to why Roon seemed to go so far back in time to address Qobuz content of playlists generally, which was visible to me because of the changes I make constantly in those two playlists. What’s important though is that Qobuz tracks have finally been correctly restored to the overall playlist collection. So, we can close this trouble report. Thank you.
