Description Of Issue

The evening I updated to Roon 1.7, I was playing Qobuz tracks and randomly tracks would either freeze mid-track, or skip - playback would either freeze completely, or skip to the next track. This happened multiple times. I rebooted my SonicTransporter i7, rebooted Qobuz, and rebooted Roon each time this occurred, but eventually I gave up. I couldn’t get the behavior to stop.

Hi @Michael_Bade — Apologies for the trouble here.

When this happens are you receiving any errors?

What was the last time that you experienced a mid-track skip?

What are your network download speeds?

Just to confirm, local content is playing okay?

Local content is OK.

Download is 3mbps. I had no issues with 192/24 FLAC under Roon 1.6. I was playing 16/48 and 96/24 FLAC when this happened under Roon 1.7.

I did not receive any error messages, from Roon or anything else.

The last time was yesterday evening. I haven’t played anything since then.

Hi @Michael_Bade,

As a test, can you try temporarily lowering the Qobuz streaming quality in Roon and let us know if this helps?
