· App interface looks or behaves oddly
· Quick Mix section in both Roon and Arc seems to be stuck recommending the same music and artists. Some of these I never listen to. Why doesn’t it adjust? Can I downvote bad music choices? Otherwise, Quick Mixes is useless.

Are you able to share a screenshot demonstrating what you’re referring to here? Are you referring to Daily Picks, Daily Mixes, Roon Radio?
Which artists in particular are you not finding to be effective recommendations? We can attempt to pinpoint the content in your library or listening history that might be influencing Valence to suggest certain content.
Have you banned any of the content you prefer not to see? Content doesn’t have to be in your library for you to apply a global ban.

My issue is with Dailly Mixes, not Daily Picks
Eagle-Eye Cherry is not an artist I have ever chosen to listen to, but he is recommended every day for the last few months (at least). I could go in and ask to block, but I can’t understand the logic of how daily mix artists are chosen.
The same is true for most of the artists on the Daily mix list. The same every day or every few days.
This should be something I can edit.

Banning is the one action that removes an artist outright. A banned artist is excluded from consideration entirely, so they cannot come back as a mix. From the artist page, open the context menu and choose “Ban this”. Details:
Adding artists to your favorites is the strongest positive signal. Favorites are weighted ahead of artists you have merely encountered, and well ahead of artists you have never touched.
Playing an artist deliberately, by going to them and pressing play, counts for more than hearing them inside a mix.
Timing matters here. Your mixes are built once a day, not on demand, so anything you ban or favorite today will show up in tomorrow’s set rather than immediately. Today’s mixes are already made.
So the practical approach is one pass: ban the handful you never want, favorite a dozen you do, then look again tomorrow and the day after.
