Requesting R128 loudness scanner used instead of what is now implemented in Roon.
After migrating from JRiver, I’ve noticed the volume limiting system in Roon is pretty bad at keeping a good level volume. For example, had tracks play with a 5dB difference applied volume between them, but the new R128 standard scanner has only 1dB difference which to my ears was spot on. So in instances like this it was better to have Roon’s volume limiter off than on–many times running to the volume to turn it down.
