My Roon server and clients run on Apple Macs, and I am having problems with m3u8 streams dropping after about 3 seconds of playback in Roon. Playback of these streams in VLC is fine, and Roon does not seem to have trouble with the legacy stream.
I have the same problem with both m3u8 streams for KQED-FM. They also drop after 4-6 seconds of playback, yet there are no playback problems in VLC with either m3u8 stream.
Please help!!! I would like to raise a ticket for this. I’ve tried the multiple choice selection from the raise a ticket link and none correlate to my issue. If support can do it I’ll be amazed. Radio not playing properly
