Radio stations stop playing after 1-5 min

Core Details

SGC Sonictransport i5 running latest Roon core 1.6 build 416 stable 64bit.

Network Details (Including networking gear model/manufacturer and if on WiFi/Ethernet)

I’ve connected it via switch (Netgear GS105) to router (Linksys Max-Stream) and directly to router with no difference.

Audio Devices (Specify what device you’re using and its connection type - USB/HDMI/etc.)

From router or switch, to Bricasti M5 and then DAC.

Description Of Issue

Similar issues in prior setup that had core on a QNAP NAS.

Internet radio stations have at times worked well and others not. I am again at a period of “not”. After playing about 1-5 min, radio stops. I can launch another station, same thing. (Currently stream XPN.org, WGBH, Vt Pub Radio, MN Pub Radio: same result with all). Stations play fine on laptop not running Roon.

No issue with Qobuz or internal server files.

Thanks for reaching out here, I have a few questions:

  • Can you please provide a few direct links to the streams that are affected by this issue?
  • When this issue occurs, do other zones behave as expected using the same stations?
  • If you don’t have any other zones, can you see what the behavior is like on “System Output”?
