Roon Core Machine

I never have problems connecting to the core. It is a NUC as prescribed by Roon.
It is hardwired via GB ethernet to the Router, then Wifi connected to the Naim Endpoint (and Roon Players on my PC, Ipad).

Networking Gear & Setup Details

Songs will be playing, then stop playing, but the Roon player is still ticking by. It will then randomly jump to the next song in the playlist. The Internet connection and speed are very good. The router and Naim ND5XS2 are less than 30 feet away. If I run the native Naim Player, I don’t have the same issue. DSP is not enabled.

Naim ND5XS2 via WIFI to the FritzBox 6660 Cable

The zone will sometimes disappear, then reappear. At the same time, the internet is not down and speeds are 400mbs. If it cuts out, if I pause and restart - it will sometimes come back.

Number of Tracks in Library

Music library is mostly Qobuz – 2000 track of my own on a local server.

The Playlist I am listing to how is only 16 tracks and it cut out, but now is fine.

Description of Issue

It will run sometimes for 1-2 hours with no problem. Then it will skip.

Try the basics. Mostly it’s not the internet speed or connection but the network.
