This does not feel random in any sense of the word. I get that computers don’t do random, but surely it could use a seed of date and time searched or something?
I have 8k albums but the same ones are showing at the top each and every time I do it, over various computers.
Please make it genuinely random.
Sounds like it’s not working for you. I get different ones every time I do it, and different ones on each device.
(And computers do „random enough“ for things that don’t need scientific randomness)
Once you make a bookmark of a random list, you’ll get the same order over and over again.

You are right, if you choose the bookmark again. This seems to make sense to me in principle. Perhaps I take a liking to a particular random result and want to keep it for a while.
I can also see that one would want to combine a focus with random, bookmark this, and get a new result every time one chooses the bookmark. But this is accomplished by calling up the focus and then clicking the random sort. This doesn’t seem terrible to me.
I just feel on 8k+ albums it would be very random but key albums seems to show up at the top each time, and the fist time I hit the button it nearly seems album for album over a few computers, so not random at all.
I am not doing anything scientific to get to this conclusion it just feels like a lot of the same albums turn up each and every time. I am finding if i scroll to the middle it feels more random there

LOL, I’m so lucky. It’s really odd and I suppose time for Support. Maybe it’s something simple that I’m overlooking but I haven’t seen anyone else on the forum writing about unsatisfactory randomization.
Can you post some screenshot examples. Maybe we can spot something amiss.

I am playing tonight by picking artist then back to random to mix it up. I am guessing I am being a bit fussy. I’ll try and get some screen shots when pcs are on.
I like the feature though.
Also, dare I say it because perhaps Roon did nothing but Roon Radio seems better.
