Re-arraigning my song and folder structure for many 'single songs'

I’m cleaning up all my ‘single songs’. I’m a convert from Sonos. Had singles in album form that I created and manually tagged to find them all. Now that I’m with Roon, it displays each single with the album art that is the first single’s album art. After researching the forums, I see the error of my ways and am in the process of fixing this.

As per Roon posts, I’m moving all these ‘songs’ into one folder and removing any extra tags I’ve manually done so that Roon can display them correctly. The tag is now only song / artist / and cover art. Many are singles from Beatport.com and elsewhere. Not really album types of songs.

Now the songs aren’t available or searchable. I took one and researched the album it is from, moved it into an artist folder, then tagged it with the album and track number. Roon tagged it correctly.

I guess I’m going to have to do this for every single song??? Yikes. There’s almost 200 of them.?.

Hi @RickInHouston,

If you try searching by path in the tracks browser do these tracks show up? If so, can you navigate to the album page for that track and share a screenshot of what you’re seeing?

I did an ‘unmerge album’ and made them individual CDs. Seems to have worked. Thank you.
