Hi there, I have a Roon nucleus which my device cannot now read on my app on my mobile phone. Roon is on & internet working. Looking for best way to check things are okay & get working.

best wishes, Gerry

Welcome to the forum! Please tell us more about the network part of your setup, from the template that was shown when you open the topic:

Hi there,
Thanks for reply.
a) Roon Nucleus;
b) Samsung mobile;
c) BT routers with two boosters; Wifi.

Wifi is fine; Roon is on. Failure is connection between Roon and Roon app on Samsung mob.

Hope that helps. Best, Gerry

@Gerry_Hassan, can you type the IP address of your Nucleus into a web browser and see its Web Administration page? Can you install Roon on a PC or Mac as a Remote and check if that can see the Nucleus?

Dear Robert,

Simple question. How can I access the IP address of my Nucleus when I cannot connect my Nucleus to my mobile or onto my Mac? Both bring up: ‘There was an issue loading your library.’

Many thanks, Gerry

You didn’t say that so how would @Robert_F know?

My ‘use remotes’ in the settings had turned off in latest update which caused me an hour of annoyance before I realised it. Once switched to ‘on’ I can now see everything
On my remotes (phone) again. Don’t know if anything is related?

@Gerry_Hassan, can log into your router and look for the IP address of your Nucleus in the list of connected devices? Alternately, an app such as Fing can find all connected devices on your home network.

Hi @Gerry_Hassan,

Thank you for patiently awaiting a response from Roon support.

One thing I have in my toolbox that moderators do not do is to see what Roon’s servers think is happening. I can confirm that our servers have not seen your Nucleus since December 15th.

My next step is to ask you to connect a monitor and keyboard to the unit (HDMI and USB) to see what is displayed on the screen. If you’re able to get into the interface, here are some steps you can try to remedy the issue. If nothing shows up, please let me know and we’ll get you some next steps.

Connect the Nucleus to a monitor or TV via HDMI.
Connect a USB keyboard to the Nucleus.
Press ENTER.
Type resetnetwork.
Press ENTER.
