I’m streaming from my Nucleus One to my Yamaha CX-A5200 connected to an hdmi av input. Upon initial streaming, my receiver cycles between outputs, hdmi 1, hdmi 2, hdmi both, and hdmi off. During this cycling, the Roon audio cuts off. This can continue for several minutes, before the receiver settles on an output at which time Roon works fine and continues to. Is there anything that would fix this handshake issue? I cannot select audio only on any of my av hdmi inputs. Would an hdmi extractor fix the problem? Thanks. Pat

Thanks for reaching out. Does the same issue happen when the HDMI is plugged into another HDMI destination, such as the TV directly? I suspect this could be because the reciever is taking a while to perform the EDID handshake with the Nucleus. You’ll probably want to use an HDMI dummy plug (to trick the reciever into thinking the source is already on), or use the HDMI extractor and connect via RCA/other input.
