Good to see you on the community again! I’m afraid we’ll need a bit more information to better help you.
Connect your Nucleus via ethernet to your router and power it on. From there, make sure you have the latest version of Roon downloaded on your remote devices - open Roon, do you see your Nucleus available to select as a Server?
Currently my Nucleus is in an upstairs listening roon connected via mesh. It was connected via Cat6 directly for over a year downstairs so it could update. I haven’t been able to address it (probably because I haven’t connected it to WiFi) so I am going to connect a monitor via HDMI and see what it says. I think I will have to direct connect to router downstairs and see if I can get into the web interface. I have mobility issues so I takes more time to do. Thanks for the assist and I will report back soon.
Well……I move the nucleus and directly connected to my router. Turned off my VPN……looked at devices on my ISP app……from my iPad……ISP identifies new device as iPad iOS, tried addressing via 192.168.1.35 etc…
Tried roon app with no success. Do I need to use my Windows computer?
My controller was always an iPad which worked fine. I’m lost at this point
Adding that my Pro-ject Stream box, from the same room and connections had no trouble connecting, integrating with my Qubuz and recalling my settings including attached libraries.
I got the Nucleus Plus for a solution that was designed in a way to simplify the running of ROCK and less dependent of my setup as I believed the operating system and related factory hardware could be diagnosed remotely as an integral unit?
The only device that I had with a HDMI input was a TV that was apparently unable to just display text like a monitor would.
So I still need help……thanks
Hi @Jeffrey_Simpson,
It looks like our system is still unable to see your Nucleus. So I think you will need to go through the RMA process. Please follow this link Nucleus Troubleshooting
