Description of Issue

Very often Roon does rescan the Library that is on the USB-Drive connected to the ZEN Stream. This takes hours. This is not necessary due to the fact that the Library isn’t change. I put there no new music on it and delete or change nothing. It’s static.

The rescan interval was set to 24h, max possible.

Is there a way (I didn’t find yet) to switch off the scan? Or is something wrong in my setting? Before this setting i worked with an MacMini → USB and there was no recurring rescan of the folders on the USB-Drive.

Thanks
Daniel

As far as I know, there is no way to turn off system scanning for library updates.

Hi, @Daniel_Hinze, thank you for your post. As far as I understand, you do not want your network storage location to be rescanned every 24 hours. There is an option to disable that:

Thanks!
