Reflash Stack Audio Link II O/S

I’m trying to reflash the Stack Audio Link II with the original version of the O/S from the Stack Audio site, but it appears to be having trouble updating. I’m seeing these errors in the log file:

The Link II is no longer sold by Stack Audio and has not provided any help with this issue. Is this something you can help me with? Is there any chance that I could possibly edit the .bin file to correct the URLs if those are no longer valid?

Thanks for any info you can provide!

That’s no longer supported, but you can run RoPieee on the Link.

OK. Thanks very much!

Hello,

I’ve been using the Link for quite some time with Ropieee,

The Link specific led management is not managed by Ropieee.

I sometimes have sound drops, I’ll have to send Harry an analysis request when I manage to give feedback right after a drop.

Sincerely

Hi Jean-Paul,
I was only using RoPieee for the squeezelite service, nothing else. At the recommendation of another user on the LMS forum, I’m now trying piCorePlayer on the Link. It allows for more control of the squeezelite parameters and has a slightly smaller overhead. Keep me updated with what you do with your Link!
Chris

Hi Chris,
I use the Link for Roon and airplay
