Similar posts mentioning Rekordbox seem to complicate the issue with requests for more DJ features.
I’ll keep this simple:
Roon should be compatible with Rekordbox.
Rekordbox would connect to the Roon library, local files only, as it does “iTunes” music library.
Playlists created in Roon, should be visible/accessible in Rekordbox.
One-way is fine Roon–> Rekordbox; no need to pull anything back into Roon.
Yes please.. It’s quite frustrating that Roon alienates probably the biggest crowd of people who purchase digital music.. IE DJ’s… almost half a million albums were purchased yesterday on Bandcamp… And I assume a big chunk of those will be making their way to rekordbox to play via Radio shows/ DJ sets. Roon needs to be cheaper and support record box. It barely recognizes artists unless they are relatively mainstream. Please make this more universally accessible, and not solely aimed at Dads with expensive hifi setups in their shed
