Hard and Software
Core: Windows Server 2016 / ROON 1.8 Build 756
Client 1: iPad and iPhone / iOS 14.4 / ROON Build 756
Client 2: Windows 10 / ROON Build 756
Steps to reproduce the problem (on Windows)
Go to My Libray > Albums
Select an Album
It should be an album with different “Original Release Date” and “Release Date” entries
You can also change the two dates temporarily in Album Editor > Edit Album
The Album View shows the “Original Release Date” twice
Top right next to the cover and to the right of the review
The “Release Date” is no longer displayed at all
Impact
As a collector with more than one version of an album, the release date is an important piece of information for me.
Expected behavior
The “Release Date” should be displayed in one of the enumerated locations
(I think it was planned right up next to the cover)
Yes, this is such a big oversight. Not surprising. And with the way the Roon team works, we will never get this back, at it seems like they only do what their clients don’t ask for.

Original release date is a major information like the album title.
The best should be to check/uncheck what can be displayed or not in the main album view. Like in the browsing albums.
I’m also missing the tabs of the album disks, instead of the listbox.
