This is just a quick [XL only] patch release that fixes the problem with no sound while doing Airplay 2.
Again, XL only, so regular RoPieee will not receive this update.
For those waiting: it will appear on your unit the next 24 hrs.

One of my 6 showed the build 988 update (PI4 Digione), installed it, tested AIrplay working - all good so far. Thanks Harry!

RoPieee | Software to image.ropieee.io gives ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED when attempting to download any image. Looks like one canāt download a new image from anywhere at the moment as afaik thatās the only hosting site.
Thatās been resolved now.
No problems here downloading the RPI4 version; and the image.ropiee.io link just gives me the default home page of the webserver used.

Was that intentionally, the āauto updateā function is greyed out and cannot be selected (?)
Did you select a reboot schedule first?
no I havenāt - just wondered if I should activate it, but saw I canāt
Auto update depends on a reboot schedule. If you do not have that configured, itās greyed out.
@spockfish Hi Harry, since few updates Iām facing a strange behavior.
I run RoPieeeXL in beta mode to be able to edit some Squeezelite parameters (the āfamousā -b parameter).
If I update RoPieeeXL to the last stable release and turn on beta mode Iām requested to install the last beta release thatās older then the last stable release.
in the screenshot you can see the last stable release (green arrow) and the notification of a ānewā beta release (red arrow) thatās older than the stable one, is there anything that can be done to solve this behavior?

Indeed the last beta is older than the latest stable version.
And thereās nothing in the beta release thatās not in the stable.
So ā¦ I think you donāt need beta.
And indeed, if you go for the beta release youāll receive the latest beta.

But if I donāt run beta I donāt have the chance to edit the /opt/RoPieee/apps/squeezelite/run.sh file to insert the -b parameter and even if Iām already on a newer version Iām requested to āupdateā to an older version
If youāre on the beta program it will indeed show the update to the latest beta, which can be older than the latest stable.
You can of course ignore the message.

Iām seeing a bunch of devices on 5.1 and some still on 5.0 with no updates availableā¦is there a clock ticking somewhere?
also some timezones show Asia/Singapore and others just Singaporeā¦this seems odd
.1 is only available for XL
I thought everything was basically XL now? I donāt see any explicitly XL to downloadā¦.or anywhere to turn on XL services tabā¦did I miss something?
No, thereās still āregularā and āXLā. Except that:
- I do not provide āregularā images anymore, only XL
- in the branding the āXLā specific part is gone (except the name in the footer)
