Remote app crashing on iPhone 11 Pro

Core Machine (Operating system/System info/Roon build number)
Up to date iMac 27” i7 running up to date Roon. Up to date iPhone 11 Pro.

Network Details (Including networking gear model/manufacturer and if on WiFi/Ethernet)
Eero router system. Wireless to iMac. Hardwired to streamer through a switch.

Audio Devices (Specify what device you’re using and its connection type - USB/HDMI/etc.)
Ethernet hardwired to MSB discrete DAC. 3 blue sound zones. 1 Schiit multibit DAC over USB.

Description Of Issue
The remote app on my iPhone quits after about 10 seconds of being open. The music continues just fine.

I have deleted and reinstalled the app on the phone. The Remote app works fine on my iPad. Roon core runs pretty well on my iMac, though it does unexpectedly quit every couple of days.

The primary issue here is the phone app quitting while I’m trying to browse.

When this occurs I usually do this on my iPhone Xr can’t hurt to try on your iPhone 11pro. End all apps first.

  1. Quickly press and release the Volume Up button.
  2. Quickly press and release the Volume Down button.
  3. Press and hold the Side button until the Apple logo appears, then release the Side button.
