Remote Cant Find Core[Fixed]

I had tried that before and did again. Get a message that this folder has already been added.

On ignored paths I have /tmp/;/temp/;/;.pmbmf/ not sure if important.

You are right. Same here.
Let’s try something quite ordinary: Have you already tried to reboot your QNAP?

dont think i did since the download, will do

Here is a head scratcher. Rebooted and now the core cant be found on iphone or mac book

Ok. something seems not right.
Can you download this file and place it on your NAS’ RoonServer shared folder. (Not in the RoonServer folder on your RoonServer share!)
Then stop and start RoonServer again in the App Center. Some QNAP specific log entries should be written to that file now. Can you post the content?

How do I find the roon server shared folder

found shared folder not sure how to get the file into it

With your MacBook:

In the Finder press

cmd+k

and enter

smb://192.168.0.100 (replace the IP address with the IP address of your QNAP).

Enter your username and password for your QNAP and select ‘RoonServer’ share in the next window.
Copy the file with the finder to the root level of that share (=not in any subdirectory).

easier if i use my windows pc.
I have the qunap window up:
In file station I roon server
In shared folder I have roon server listed. but cant open like i can in file station.

Not sure what root level is

You can also use file station:
In FileStation select the “RoonServer” shared folder on the left sidebar.

Then click the upload button:

and select the ROON_DEBUG_EXTERNAL_LOG.txt file you downloaded by the link of my earlier post.

Root level of the RoonServer shared folder means only not to put it in any other directory within the RoonServer shared folder.

Ok, sorry for not being up to speed. Will reboot

Rebooted. Stopped and started roon in the qnap app center. Macbook shows it is trying to initialize but nothing happening. Says Version 1.3 (build 247) stable
