Suddenly remote connection fails. I changed nothing and this happens. The dealer of my server living in another city can connect to my server, but I cannot. The exact same thing happens with both my smartphone and my tablet. Restart of my router, my server, my smartphone, my tablet, nothing changes anything.

Welcome to the community, @palermop.

Please open a #support thread as described here, and include all of the requested information.

Where do I find the #support category?

I have only one question, and you have way too many questions for me before you’re gonna answer my question. This is not gonna work.

You have so many questions to which I don’t know the answer that I’m sure this doesn’t work like this. Is my problem fixed now?

Your post should include the information requested, so Roon support and the community can assist you.

Presently, you haven’t provided any information about your Roon setup except a vague description of the problem.

As a minimum, you should state what devices Roon is running on, including the Core, and how they are connected. It would also be helpful if you described your audio devices, and your music library, e.g., local, TIDAL, Qobuz.

Please note that I am not a Roon employee, but a member of this community.

PS. I’ve asked a moderator to move this thread to #support.

Hey @palermop

Thank you for getting in touch, and welcome to Community! We’re happy to have you but sorry to see that it was an issue that prompted your first post. We’d be happy to help figure this out!

So we can better assist you, please provide a brief description of your current setup using this template in your post above.

Make sure to describe your network configuration/topology, including any networking hardware currently in use, so we can have a clear understanding of how your devices are communicating. In most cases, remote connectivity issues are caused by network issues.

If you’re still having problems with this try powering down all your devices, unplug your router and core, wait a few minutes, plug back in, power up your router, then your core, and then your remotes.
