Remote control won't connect to Roon

Hi,

I’m having a problem with the remote control.
I’m using an android and apple remote contol app. Both having the same problem.
When I start the remote app it is not able to find the remote core.
When I go to settings - setup - accept connections from remotes, and switch this option to off and back to on, immediately my remotes connect.
I’ve switched off the firewall but that was no solution.
I’m using windows 10 64 bit. I’m connected to an ASUS router via wifi.
Any suggestions?

Is the Asus router configurable? If it is make sure options like jumbo packets is off.
