When using Room Display (to project information on iOS device or other end point) there is slated artist picture dominating the album art. Is there any way to remove displaying artist picture so that the album art is only shown. When using Roon app on iOS this is possible (artist photo can be turned off) but I like to be able to remove photo when I project on chromcast (or iOS display using IP address)
If so this is very easy to fix. In the upper right corner of the window there is a row of buttons the let you select what view you want to have.
From left to right the views are lyrics, artist photo, album art, song info, album info, artist info, and track credits. Please let us know if you need any clarification about this.
Hello Daniel yes, in this environment I can remove the artist picture, but I want to remove artist picture (in another environment) when I use Roon’s “Display” tab (when picture is sent to Chromcast). To tell you exactly what I’m hoping to achieve: I am using RooExtend on my raspberry pi. I have an option to connect my raspberry pi to HDMI display, and see the cover art. In this environment, both the album art and artist information is shown, but I want to see only the album art and not the artist. Is there anyway to handle this?
Thanks for the feedback here. There is no way to customize the Display tab output of Roon at this time.
Since this is not a current feature of Roon, I would recommend also posting your suggestion in the Feature Suggestions section of the site.
