Replace unavailable tidal tracks with local file

Hi

I have an album on Tidal saved to my collection. One of the track is unavailable, because of licensing issues - fair enough.

I was able to find a complete mp3 version of the album to buy online, so I bought it and put it in my music folder.

Now I have two versions of the album in Roon, and I can play either.

What I would like to do is edit the album so that it plays the missing track as MP3 from my local storage, and the rest from Tidal - which is FLAC.

I am finding the UI very confusing on this. Maybe it is possible to create a third version of the album locally, which mixes tracks from Tidal and local storage? But I can’t figure out how to do this.

Can anyone help?

Thanks

Rob

Select both albums, click the vertical ellipsis “⋮” and Edit…, then Merge Albums.

Hi Martin

Thanks for replying.

Following your advice I found that long pressing each album allowed me to select them both, then I could merge and remove the dups. Happy now!
