I ordered a new 7 inch screen for my RPi4 because the one I have is delaminating. Can I simply replace the screen and everything will work or will I need to reflash the micro sd card and reinstall RoPieee? Everything is working as it should with the old screen still installed.
I don’t see any reason why the OS should care.

I don’t think it does unless it identifies each screen individually some way.

Yep, plug and play. The funny thing is the old screen repaired itself when I removed it. I guess the glue was still sticky enough to reattach when I laid it flat on a table. Anyway, now I have a spare.
I installed the new screen with rubber bands instead of wire ties to put less stress on the screen. The rubber bands are secured to the screen with twist ties.
