"Resume" for albums and playlists

TL;DR Add a “Resume” option to the Play button drop-down menu

Listening to albums and playlists is often spread across multiple days and endpoints. When using Roon Remote on my laptop or iPad I can figure out where to resume based on the track play count, but that doesn’t work on iOS because the track play count is not available. If there was simply a “Resume” option on the Play button drop-down menu that queued up any unplayed tracks then my problem would be solved

Perhaps I am misunderstanding your problem but why can’t you just transfer the play queue from the last endpoint you stopped play at to the one you want to listen to? I too listen across multiple days and endpoints but starting where I left off is never an issue. I mostly listen to albums not playlists though.

While that works with an active queue, it doesn’t work if you play other stuff in the meantime and then want to continue an album or playlist later.

It makes sense to me. Many playlists are several hours long (Qobuz 500 Best Rock Songs, and similar) and it would be nice to continue where you left off. I think there is an existing feature suggestion topic for this, though.

I get a little frustrated with having to start my playlists from scratch if I’ve had to change them for the kids or the wife, could we get a playlist resume function on both Roon and ARC that allows us to click on the playlist icon and resume where we left off with the queue intact?

Option to resume album where you left off

I would really appreciate this feature. I know you can see how far you made it into an album in your Queue, but what if you listened to half an album last week, or last month? In that case, it would be nice if you had the option to resume right where you left off.
