Big and sad shock for me also. 63 is no age. My really close mates still call me Terry, as they seemed to think my dry humour and demeanour reminded them of him. R.I.P Mr Hall.
Despite all the great tunes via The Specials, FB3, etc, i think my favourite is his lovely version of ‘Our Lips are Sealed’ with Nouvelle Vague.
Jane Weidlin had some nice words to say about him on twitter.

Just woke up to this, absolutely gutted one of my heroes he changed the way I listen to music and helped define me. So very sad.
