Nooooooo :frowning:
Very sad information.
The City is my favourite album. Generally.

Do we have any “successor”?

Damn I loved listening to that on my phones when I was a teenager.

I heard this on radio in 1976. Played integrally in a late-evening program “music from the cosmos” (Flanders/Belgium), with good comments of the presenter on duty.
I was immediately hooked.

Very sad news…true pioneer.

With such a vast body, I guess we will have our own favourites, but this one track seems particularly poignant today: La petite fille de la mer by Vangelis on TIDAL

Also, perhaps less well-known, and one of my first favourites is the stunningly produced China (Remastered) by Vangelis on TIDAL

Yet the one that I would take to the desert island is the collaboration with Jon Anderson that gave the world ‘State of Independence’ (even if wrongly titled by Tidal): The Friends Of Mr Cairo by Jon Anderson on TIDAL

Astonishing creativity, over decades.

How is See You Later? I’ve never listened to that one.

Kind of Vangelis meets Laurie Anderson on a JG Ballard soundtrack.
Bits of it I like bits are awful.
