RME DAC is unidentified in Roon

RME ADI-2 pro is listed as tested dacs but RME brand can’t be chosen from the manufacturer list.

Even when not identified the device should work. Do you experience any problems?

For reference: https://forum.rme-audio.de/viewtopic.php?id=30417

Nope,no problem other than settings for auto-configure converter capability.
I expect to be identified if was tested accordingly to Roon.

It’s unclear what you expect here as it seems that the RME ADI-2 DAC is not Roon Tested. Just set the parameters by hand and make sure that the SOtM sMS-200 is correctly configured also.

ADI 2 DAC is same as ADI-2 PRO as coversion capability.
PRO version only has an Analog to digital conversion capability.
But my point is why RME is not listed from drop down menu with dac brands?

Hello @MPV,

We do not yet have icons for all of our Roon Tested devices. We are working with our partners to add more in the future, so stay tuned!

As RME is not (or no more?) listed on the partner site, I wouldn’t hold my breath.

It’s (the Pro) still in the list of tested devices at
https://kb.roonlabs.com/Partner_Devices_Matrix.

Paul

Yes Paul it is in the list but can’t be manually selected from brands.
