· After having issues with stability for a while with ROCK on an Intel i7 NUC, I reinstalled the app last night. All went well, except at the end, when the "Connect to your Roon Server" screen came up "Ready" and I clicked on "Connect" on my ipad, Roon just presents with the buffering icon and it never stops.

Tell us about your home network

· The NUC is connected to a 16-port POE switch, the router is an Asus megabit N device, the provider ONT is a Calix 844E.

Hello @jayteesimpson18 ,

We can see in the diagnostics report from your Nucleus that it frequently loses its network connection and struggles to log in to your Roon account.

Please try the following troubleshooting steps to help stabilize the connection:

  • Connect your Nucleus directly to your primary router.
  • Disable IGMP snooping on your router.
  • Make sure your router has a reliable DNS assigned, such as Google or Cloudflare.
  • Ensure that the Nucleus Web Administration Interface also has a proper DNS configured. As a best practice, we recommend setting the network configuration to DHCP so your router handles the IP assignment.
Thanks.
