ROCK on NUC alternative - Lenovo M90n

Amazon delivered the hdmi to Displayport cable today and I was now able to test hdmi audio using the Displayport of the M90n and I can confirm that you get hdmi-0 with this. I was able to play 96kHz 5.1ch files as well as 192kHz 2ch files.

So DO NOT USE the USB-C to hdmi Adapter to connect your m90n to a hdmi input but use the Displayport with a 10 bucks Displayport to hdmi cable to get the full potential of the hdmi-0 output of the M90n

Hi,
My MOCK is an HD Prodesk 600 G3 Mini. Intel all through, with i5 6005T, 16GB RAM 256 SSD M.2 PCIe, 2 x 2 TB ext USB 3.1 for storage, and backup. Cost me less than $170. It works like a NUC and runs like a NUC, so it must be a NUC.
As long as you stick to CPU/RAM from Intel you’ll be safe with ROCK.
Like with “roon tested” its a market gimmic. And I guess thats OK.
