Is it possible to let run ROCK with the Roon Core disabled and and using it only as endpoint using another Roon Core on the network?
Just dont cpnnect to the core (or login) on the ROCK. it’ll sit there mostly idle.
Ok, that’s also an idea and so I’ll have an endpoint with a small Linux distribution on it.
As Danny says just don’t login on Rock and you can use it solely as an endpoint. I have an old 3rd gen NUC thin client that I installed it on and works great never had one issue with it.

So, today I’ve overridden my volumio/Roon bridge installation with Rock on a Zotac Nano CI329 device without any problems and it seems, that it sounds over HDMI in multichannel better than before (don’t ask why)…
