ROCK using Virtual Machine

It is possible to setup a Roon Rock on VM. I create it under QNAP Virtualization Station 3. If is not necessary consumer a lot of CPU or memory if you are not going to use the upsampling feature.
Regarding the storage, 128GB should be enough for core package. And, you might consider to create an addition storage if you want to storage your sound at VM. Otherwise, you might consider to get the data from NAS instead.
I guess it should be similar if you want to create a VM in Windows Server.
You can search the YouTube for a demo.

I don’t use vmware as it is not available on QNAP. I use VirtualizationStation 3 on QNAP install. The steps are similar. Hope it can help.
