Probably not as it relys on the Midi over USB Protocol of the ADI-2 Remote software. As far as I know it is not implemented in the UCX.

Just to add, unlike the ADI, the UCX/UFX don’t have analogue switchable reference levels.
So all volume adjustment inside those units is done digitally.
So there isn’t the same benefit as with the ADI over using roon’s digital volume control.
Hi DrCWO, after a reset of my my ADI-2 Pro FS my ADI-2 Pro is not found anymore in the extension manager under RooADi. I’ve checked the RME firmware - I am running the latest one.
Any ideas?

You probably forgot to re-enable MIDI support in the settings ![]()

Absolutely. Didn’t know that was needed. Works fine again, thanks!
Another quick question: I’ve done my measurements in Audiolense with Auto Rev off (Mains +24), PH3/4 low Power Mode (2 subs). Can I just turn Auto Ref on afterwards again or will it mess with the Ratios in linked Volume?

Good question.
But if you have voltmeter you can easily check. Play a 1kHz tome (from test LP or rooPlay) and measure voltage at the speakers and SUB.
Next turn on Auto Ref and repeat measurement. If the rtio between speaker and Sub voltage stays the same anything will be fine.

Hi @DrCWO , with the upcoming release of the EX-series from RME ( RME introduces the next generation: Welcome to the ADI-2 EX series! ), will the rooADI-extension work with these products “out of the box” or will you need to make updates/adjustments to rooADI?
best regards
Magnus
Today I talked to one of the RME guys at the HighEnd Audio show in Vienna. As far as I understood it will work out of the box. But as soon as I can get one of the new DACs I will verify.
