Hi,
I applied the hotfix as per the instructions https://rooextend.com/hotfix/
All seemed to be going well. However, the device is bricked. While the network LEDs are blinking happily, there is no IP traffic coming from it. Needless to say, ROON cannot find the extension manager. The device was on version 3.4.2 with an uptime of about 170 or so days.
Kindly help.

I installed the hotfix and followed the instructions to immediately update but I’m still stuck with the old version, v.3.4.2. It’s been three days since. Neither scheduled auto update nor the force update worked.

Quick status update:
I rebooted the device and there is no change - while the LEDs on the network port are blinking, the front LED is solid red and there has not been a single byte of network traffic from the device since my initial post.
Hopefully, this can be resolved soon.

Gerald
The good DrCWO shared an image of the SD card and helped with re-authorizing extensions today. All is well and v3.4.2 is running again.
I was able to apply the hotfix but it took one more step;
I had to reboot my iwatch
I am at 3.4.2
Same here. Stuck at version 3.4.2. Both update possibilities don´t work.
Hello,
Today I wanted to put my RooExtend back into operation. After several restarts, WAN lights up and the red LED flashes slowly. An IP address is assigned or obtained. But the device is not displayed in Roon. Access via http://IP-Adress also does not work. Restart does not work. Any ideas?
Regards,
Michael
Where would I be able to get an image. I just got a Rooextend box today. I know I made a mistake on typing in the reinstall link. Now it is basically bricked? Where would I get help?
