Describe the issue

I am still running Roon 1.7.610 server satisfactorily. Since a few weeks the search does not work anymore. Apparently, the search service is not available anymore at "https://search.roonlabs.net/1/search?q="
Is this the end for my old installation, no way around an update?

Describe your network setup

Internet working fine.

Since Roon no longer supports Roon 1.7, I reckon you will need to upgrade to version 2.0.

However, before doing so, please wait for Roon support to ensure an upgrade goes well for you.

Hello @Achim ,

@mjw is correct ere, Roon 1.7 is no longer supported. It looks like your device supports Roon 2.0, so we would advise performing a backup of your database, and then installing Roon 2.0 from our downloads page:

Let us know how this goes!

Thanks, will see how it goes!

The update went ok.

Now, if you could tell me how to have the HISTORY and TRACKS listings with a play button beore the track title, I’d be happy.

And also, if the track listing could be more compact, like, a list. As it was.

Hi @Achim,

There are many view customization options under the settings button in any of the “My Library” views. I highlighted the show number of plays option which I believe is what you meant by history.

Let us know if this isn’t what you were looking for.

Hi @daniel,

thanks for your response!

By “play button” I mean the possibility to start the title with one click, as is possible in a playlist and in the album track list. It should also be available in the “history” and in the “tracks” listings.

It would also be useful to not waste so much space for one line of the listing. That was handled much better in version 1.7.

Hi @Achim,

Thanks for the feedback here. Since this is not a current feature of Roon, I would recommend also posting your suggestion in the Feature Suggestions section of the site.

Our product team and developers keep a close eye on that category, so that’s definitely the best place to propose a change like this and get feedback from the Community.

OK, thanks, will do.

Great I’ll mark this thread to close then.
