Could it be that Norton has problems with Roon 1.8 - A friend’s WiFi regularly drops out when using the desktop / laptop app.
He had also had the problem with the previous version, but then we were able to solve it by turning off his Firewall
No need to turn off - just set up properly and it works without a problem.
I wouldn’t be turning off my firewall for any software to work! Just configure the firewall properly.
Firewall is turned off, i advised him to delete the Roon app and to do a fresh reinstall.
I’m visiting him on monday and have a look at it but I fear I am not very knowledgeable about how to get those settings right
