Roon 1.8: How do I see how many tracks have been selected by focus subsetting?

I note that in Album view, Roon 1.8 (753 / 756) shows how many albums meet the current Focus criteria, for instance:

…but in Tracks view, I see no obvious way to know how many tracks have been selected the current Focus. It’s definitely not right up at the top where that info was for albums:

Am I just failing to look in whatever place that count is now displayed?

Ahhh, all you need is a little trick, I use a PC with a keyboard, so just pick any ole track in your list, right click to select it, then Cntl-A to select all and on the top left it will tell you how many are selected. with a tablet, just long pause to select, then on the top left you can use the selection menu to select all

Thanks for pointing out that handy workaround!

I still feel that the count of tracks selected by the current Focus criteria should be displayed as a routine part of the UI, but checking in on the count by selecting everything is indeed a useful trick.

We shouldn’t have to select all the tracks in a track list to see how many tracks there are. That is unnecessary work, especially since previous versions of Roon have always shown how many tracks are in the track list.

So far, Roon 1.8 is half a step forward, 3 steps back. I’m very disappointed.
