Description Of Issue
Everything was working perfect before upgrade to 1.8. After the upgrade, I am having a number of issues. The search is either extremely slow, or does not return any results (animated Roon logo). Many albums now have no metadata. When I try “Identify Album”, I get a black screen with animated Roon logo, or I get a black page with no results. I have tried rebooting Roon Rock/Core multiple times, restarted my client, tried these on iOS and MacOS clients, did “Force Rescan” on my storage, and even restored an older backup of the database. Nothing has worked so far. Any other things I can try?
Also having an issue with Identify Album in 1.8. When I click that I get the screen to search for artist and album, but even if I enter an album that already has valid data, I get no results. No matter what album I try - nothing EVER shows up.
Is there some setting somewhere that I need to use to tell room WHERE to look for metadata?
I have similar issue - search in 1.8 is really poor imho.
for example Nick Cave - Carnage is out this week on Qobuz featured in there new release list pretty much up from in the qobuz app. Not showing up in Roon Qobuz New Release feed though and it doesn’t show up at all in any search I do via Roon on iPhone app or Mac OS client.
