Roon 1.8 issue Track playing indicator not working

Does anyone else have the issue of the track playing indicator not working in 1.8? Hopefully this will be fixed soon.

That’s the biggest issue I’ve seen. I can start playing, but since the display is “stuck” on what was last played in 1.7, I can’t pause/stop play reliably.

(build 756, ROCK, playing through multiple devices)

This morning the indicator’s working again, is it working for you now?

Same problem here. The play now display is stuck, the external displays all remain blank, but I can press the ‘play now’ button under the records and they play, only there’s no progress display, the display is stuck on an old record, the pause button does not work, the ‘signal path’ button DOES work, as do the ‘previous’ and ‘next’ and ‘queue’ buttons.Very strange.

Mine looks to be working better once I rebooted Core. @Jozef_Schildermans that describes what I saw as well. I hope a reboot works for you!

No did not help. I opened a support ticket.

Same problem here… the other issue I’ve seen is that while the track indicator is working as it should, the same track in the list of tracks is not indicated as playing.

Hello to everyone. Still have the same problem on two different antipodes CX devices. The playback button stuck and doesn’t work. Any ideas? Reboot doesn’t help.

Playing indicator none active only on Tidal playlists. Playlists saved on SSD works fine
