Roon 1.8 update not ending

I have an iMac, Mid 2011, High Sierra, 2,7 Ghz Intel Core i5, 12 GB 1333Mhz DDR3 memory, 1 Tb hard drive.

Home 4g ethernet.

Description of Issue

Can’t get Core working, I’ve downloaded it several times and everything goes just fine until I double-click the icon, it opens a window where a Room logo is in the middle and the stripes are moving, that goes on and on, nothing else happens. I’ve had Room core before in this iMac and it worked fine. I’ve restarted iMac, no help.

It started working, for some reason it took several hours but nevertheless, it’s working.

And it stopped working, all the same symptoms as above. Any advise, anybody?
