Roon 2.0 Build 1226 and ARC Build 155 is Live!

Hello Everyone,

As you may have noticed we did not ship the .NET6 framework update for Windows in last week’s production release. This is due to some additional required changes which were not ready in time to make the last cycle. With today’s release Windows cores and remotes should be fully utilizing the .NET6 runtime.

While there are no specific testing instructions it is important to note any behavior which seems out of the ordinary for Windows cores and remotes.

Additionally, this release includes numerous fixes as detailed below.

  • Full .NET6 support for Windows cores and remotes
  • Fixed an issue where the scrollbar was missing on certain album details pages
  • Fixed an issue where adding multiple tracks from a streaming service to the Roon library didn’t actually add them
  • Fixed an issue where the scroll position was not remembered when navigating back in the Roon UI
  • Fixed an issue where the jpeg encoder would crash in certain circumstances
  • Fixed an issue where radio stations using the audio/mpegurl type could not be added
  • Fixed an issue in which Roon Daily Mixes included library tracks that were unavailable
  • Refined UI display and behavior in several areas
  • Additional minor bugfixes and enhancements

Installation

Cores, remotes, and ARC installations already running earlyaccess should update automatically. If you need to reinstall, the latest earlyaccess builds can always be found at the following links.
